Whether for the holidays or any other time of year ~ what's your favorite side dish of all time?! [Include a description, pictures and/or recipes if possible since we may not know what the dish is just by name! ]

I'll start ~ homemade fresh garlic & four cheese mashed potatoes ~ my absolute favorite especially in the winter time

Does champ count as a side dish? Has to smothered in butter and salt though, I had several bowls tonight on its own for tea mmmmm.

Oops sorry its basically spuds mashed with scallions / spring onions chopped then mixed through. Some people mix cream or milk in when mashing. I just love spuds or anything with carbs in general.
