Now, I don't think my business is his business, but FOB is active in my sons life and If eel that out of respect, he should know who is hanging around his son especially since my bf and i are talking about living together. When and how do you tell FOB that you are in this new relationship?

He is a very emotional person and even though he is not abusive in the least, I am scared of where his emotions could possibly take him. What's the best way to go about this?

That's a tough situation. At first I would have told him face to face although that's hardest, but if you're scared of what he might say, you can try a phone call. You could also write him a letter. That way you could tell him everything without him being able to interrupt. I just wouldn't do it over text. I've been bad about fighting with mine over texts a lot lately and it doesn't help!

Really depends how long you've been in the realtionship.

I don't introduce anyone until 6 months to my done becaue I want it to be a serious relationship. I've always let FoB meet them to first so there isn't any hiding who I'm with and I expect the same from him.

If you've already introduced him to your son you should tell him right away as you would want him to do the same

In the first relationship I got in after leaving FOB, I told him straight away. I wouldn't show him that courtesy again because he was a dick about it.
