When can we TTC after polyp removal??

Hey girlies. Once again reaching out for someone with knowledge and/or experience!!

I had a hysteroscopy Friday, with polypectomy, and had 2 polyps removed. I should be getting my period in the next few days, naturally, nothing to do with the procedure. Anyone know if doctor's tell you to WTT after such a procedure? And if so, how long?? I have my follow-up appt next Wednesday, but I'm so anxious about what she will say!!

I would have though your next ovulation, but I can't comment from experience. I was told following cycle after a lap though xx

Yay! I hope so. Thanks for responding. It wasn't major surgery, so I was thinking right away too. I have AF right now, so I'm hoping this is the cycle. Thanks again!

I had one back in August and my doctor just said not to put anything in the vagina for two weeks after the surgery. After that it was all systems go. Good luck to you and baby dust!!!!

I had my polyp removed last Thursday. My doctor told me to not have sex for 7 days and my ovulation was on Friday unfortunately. So she told that I will have to wait to next cycle to start trying again. I would say start trying this cycle! Good Luck!

Yay! Thanks girls. You've made me smile. I hope she gives me the go ahead too. The 2 week thing sucks, I have AF right now and using pads is sooo annoying!! We are supposedly more fertile after getting those silly things out right....so I hope we all get our BFPs soon!!
