Teddy has been feeding about every 2 hours during the day for about 3weeks. occasionally he'll go 3 hours but sometimes its only 1.5!he's been waking more in the night too. He feeds for 10-15 minutes at a time but i'm almost sure he gets a full feed.

i'm wondering if it could be time?..

Seth had that as well from about 3 months to until I started to wean him 3 weeks ago. He also dropped weight and stopped putting it on as well as he used to which was when I decided that it was definately time.

Good luck :)

Tom was doing the same for three weeks when i gave him and uppd his tp stage two milk, which helped for like 2 days! Then i introduced babyrice which did the trick nicely. I intended to use baby rice only until 6 months, but he still got hungrier and hungrier and by 6 weeks of this food monsterness we were having 4x 7 scoop bottles of milk, 4oz added water and 3 x 1oz meals a day!

Now however he has slowed right down even though we are back to stage 1 milk. and he still wont sleep through the night! Sigh....

thanks for your replies. LO is still sucking me dry. And he's growing so much - i'm sure the doc will tell me off when she sees his tripple chins on Monday (jabs). I dont know if he'll take the rice - he refuses to drink from a bottle....maybe I'll ask doc what she thinks..maybe I can go straight to some blended veges?!

I started when max was drinking 5-8 onz every 2 hours and he was about 3 months

Skyler has always been eating like that.I think baby boys just need a little more as they burn it off faster than baby girls.

they say that if they struggle to eat off a spoon then they arent ready! I would def go for the rice first tho - fruit and veges can be a bit harder to digest and they have a much stronger flavour
