My wee one is four months and we moved her today, but I'm worried she is still too small.

She is quite a small baby (25th centile) but has brilliant head control, can sit for 10+ minutes if she holds onto your fingers, and in the last few days she has been sitting unaided for maybe 30 seconds at a time.

I don't drive and the carrycot attachment is so bulky to get around, the pushchair attachment is so much easier, plus she loves looking around and cant see anything in her carrycot unless I put the hood down - which is not appropriate in Scottish winter!

Her pushchair attachment has a solid back and can recline to a flat position.

Which pushchair do you have? It will usually state whether it's suitable from birth or from 6months, don't you can get newborn inserts for too! I have the Quinny buzz extra which has a newborn insert in but I've only had short trips to supermarket etc so far as my Lo is only 3 weeks old so have only been using the car seat attachment but will use the pushchair soon!

I have a mee-go pramette which is suitable from birth because it converts into a carrycot, it doesn't actually state when you can change it from the carrycot and doesn't have a head hugger (we couldn't use the head hugger anyway as we need the cosy toes on her)

I've never heard of that pram but I googled it and it looks like it has a reclined position between laid flat and say up properly. I would be happy using it in that position at four months. It looks a similar angle to our sola and DS was much happier slightly raised than laid flat from a few months old.

Had her out today and she loved it! She was pulling herself forward to see more! Plus she can reach all her activity bar stuff better now!

My son was about 3.5-4 months. He's outgrown the carry cot and hated it. We just used a newborn insert and mare sure it was tilted back.

Sounds like she's ready for it then.
