When did you twin mamas pack your hospital bags?

Hi there,
I'm 30 weeks pregnant with twins. Was wondering when I should pack my bags? I know it's still early but I'm sure it should be done sooner rather then later? I haven't had any major complications so far, but the start of this third trimester is exhausting!

I did have complications (pPROM) so could have gone into labour anytime from 19 weeks.

I didn't pack my bag until 36+4 though it was the day before I was *due* for induction (they postponed it though).

Risky.....!

Many mums of twins advised me to pack a bag by 28 weeks. Since I am 27 weeks I have only packed an extremely basic bag. As my pregnancy progresses I'll pack something better, but I wanted to have something to grab if I needed it.

About 28 weeks. I got quite obsessed about it and kept worrying what I'd need, so decided to just get it over and done with!

Good question! I'm glad you asked this. I'm so paranoid that my twins will come early that I was thinking 28 weeks too.

My friend who had twins in October is nagging me to do mine now. Do you think it's better to have it pack 'just in case'?

It's beginning to stress me out a bit. I feel like it's way too early, but then when my DD was born my DH was running around trying to pack it while I was sat in the bath trying to ease my contractions after labour had already started!

Great question! I want to pack mine soon and although I know what I want to pack for me, I have no idea about the babies.

I'm 25w3d and don't even have any clothes for babies never mind night dresses or anything for me. I probably should get started in buying what's needed since I'll have to wash it all before hand too.

I've had mine packed since 30 weeks but got it all finished last night, been getting lots of pains in the night so thought it was best to have it there. I am a control freak and know if I send someone to get something for me they will bring the wrong thing x

Babies have been finished since 28weeks.
Mine has been semi packed since then,in the middle or rewashing stuff so they smell all fresh again n hoping to have it totally completed by this weekend.
Car bag is semi packed too just last min things to get chucked in and same with the snack bag.

Trying to be organized, failing miserably

Thanks ladies, I'm 33 weeks now and still haven't packed my back! Have no energy What so ever, I feel like I'm housebound! Need to get up and move but my body is saying no! I'm going to start this week packing x
