I'm soo excited for this one :D When he has his little fart smiles or yawns I can definitely tell he has the cutest dimples!! (just like his momma :haha: ) Sometimes when I talk to him he looks like he REALLY wants to smile he gets a little bit excited but he just can't do it lol. I'm just curious when babies usually start smiling :flower:

The day before she turned 4 weeks! DH saw it too so I wasn't seeing things and once she started she didn't stop!! Xx

Johnnys been smiling since very early. He had wind smiles too but I can tell them apart. He still doesn't stop smiling. Love baby smiles xo

Properly since about 3 or 4 weeks. And she also hasn't stopped since lol.

Smiling from birth but a conscious, that's so funny smile, was at 7 weeks when he was playing on his playmat

4 weeks to me once or twice! And 5 or 5 1/2 weeks to everyone ALL the time! Also smiles to random objects and walls/ceiling etc!

At 1 month but didn't start smiling all the time for about another 2 weeks - now she'll always smile back at you (unless she's particularly grumpy or tired).

For me the best smiles are:
a) first one of the morning (always seems the biggest)
b) when she stops mid-feed just to give you a big, cute grin! :cloud9:

I agree! The smile they give you when they first see you in the morning is amazing, makes me so happy! xo

Properly at about 3 weeks. Before then was just wind lol. He gets excited now and does this funny laugh. It's sooo cute. Xx

currently only getting wind smiles and ones in her sleep (wind again i think lol) but she does this fast breathing, open mouth thing when we're making silly faces/noises at her. hopefully that'll turn into a smile in the next couple weeks!x

I'm still waiting for mine to smile back.. she'll smile in her sleep or right before she cries :haha: I think shes just gets confused on which facial muscles to use.

Id say a proper one 5 weeks but no-one believed me until she was 6 weeks as they hadn't seen it!

She had her first real smile at 4.5 weeks but they were kind of sporadic until 6 weeks :flower:

7 weeks and it's the cutest thing EVER!! I love it and he only smiles for me hehe

She was smiling consistently around 5 weeks, with a one-off maybe a week before.
