when did your scar stop hurting or looking bruised?

The side of my scar is bruised aside from that its not noticeable and its good but it is painful and tingly and itchy and feels like someone is scratching it
should I still need painkillers at 7 weeks PP for section irritation?
It was going okay but this week its flared up and now I have bruising on the right side by my hip and its a dark purple so yeah the section area and abdomen above scar hurts

Starting to think its not SPD and that the SPD pain has pretty much dissapeared aside from a bit of back pain as all the muscle exercises are fine to do but they aggravate the scar, the belly band and Velcro band they gave me for SPD hurts the scar and makes it sore but my legs and hips are fine and back

perhaps its not spd anymore? its all section pain :/
thought it would have gone by now

how long did it take for your scar to stop hurting, itching or looking bruised if you did have issues with it???
I am seeing doctor about a UTI :/ which is making sex painful but also about the section pain, so much for the six week thing

Bump.

I'm only 6 days pp but am keen to know what I should be expecting recovery-wise. I'm still in a lot of pain but it's very different to my spd pain so am pretty sure that's already gone for me.

hey, well mine was mainly due to spd, its only going away now at two months but the scar should stop feeling painful or sore at about four weeks. i used codeine and paracetamol right through until week six then got my period and that was much worse than a section in terms of pain, the cramps were awful. The pain in the incision has gone for me it just took about eight weeks for me but i must add it was never excruciating or horribly painful, i mean my spd was so bad during pregnancy i was in tears daily with pain so it was a nice relief actually afterward to not be in so much pain anymore, it was just hard to come to terms with having a bulge above my scar, due to the muscle separation
