When do you start counting DPO when not using opk kits??

We arent using OPK's but I still track my cervical mucus ??

Have had the usual change in it already this month and for the last 2 days it has gone back to normal creamy /barley there cm.

Do I count the first day past ovulation as the first day that I had normal cm back?

Yes, it would be the first day after you suspected you ovulated.
