The lady at Walmart kept insisting that i bought the generic brand? I told her im wore comfortable with first response and she was getting so mad? She finally started ringing me in and she rang in the wrong box! I commented on it and she said it was a better option.
Soo i left without buying any, walked 25 min down the road and got my tests at shoppers drug mart...

How rude of her!! :/

Are you testing today? :)

XxX:kiss:

Im testing in the morning, i wanted to today as well but oddly they were sold out of 2pacs so i got one for now.

Thats is crazy, I had a weird encounter with a wal mart employee the other day also over bananas. I always give my kids a banana when we go to the grocery store and I put the peel back in the little produce bag and when she went to ring them up she help it up and said "well how many did they eat?" I said "does it really matter charge me for 10 lbs" lol idiot ppl.

I love walmart because its soo easy but i hate going there because of the terrible service. If i want a certain brand dont fight me over it lol. I was shopping there once with my boyfriend and he wanted 1 walnut? (just for the heck of it) and the lady was like "We charge per pound so you'll have to pay the pound price" for ONE walnut? lol he went to put it back and as soon as we left the store he went to hold my hand with a walnut in his hand! I couldnt believe he stole it! I had a good laugh.

IT's not her business what test you get!! I hate it when cashiers/service people make comments about pregnancy tests and other 'sensitive' items. It's embarassing enough to be at the cashier with tests or condoms or whatever, they don't need to making silly comments...just ring it up quietly and be done!

ONe time I ordered some pregnancy tests online and I had to collect them at our express mail package center in town. All the packages are checked by Customs officers and it was male officer checking mine. WHen he opened it he stared at it and exclaimed loudly, "WHY DO YOU NEED TO BUY PREGNANCY TESTS ONLINE??? DON'T THEY SELL THEM HERE??" (Thanks for letting everyone know Mr.) I told him it was none of his business and he didn't even know whether it was for me or someone else??? The nerve!!!!! I was sooo upset though!!! :growlmad:

Oh my gosh! Id flip out on him lol it honestly is super awkward buying pregnancy tests.
She wasnt trying to sell the other brand to me because of sensitivity she just wanted me to because it was the walmart generic brand aswell as being more expensive

how awful. I bought a test at walmart and the guy picks it up looks at the test, looks at my daughter in the cart and says: "Good luck with this test, other wise you would have your hands full."

Oh my gosh. Im definitly not going back to walmart for personal things like that. I dont see how people could say those things.

I've had a lot of comments made when buying bulk tests at walmart too! It's so embarrassing.

I don't really get the banana thing, though. They ring those things up by weight so I'm guessing she was just trying to get an idea of how much to charge? Im sure it's kind of annoying to them when having to try to figure out how to charge for produce eaten in store.

With my first...I went to drug store for my very first pregnancy test...29 years old and I was buying a pregnancy test for the first time in my life!!! Hahaha. I was so nervous!!!! The girl ringing me in didn't say a word until just as I was leaving she looked at me and said "good luck!" It totally made my day and I was giddy to go home and test!!! Hehehe.

I cannot believe some people. How is sensitivity training NOT part of the manual!!!!!! Oie!

Oh my lol... was it the last box of that brand?? Maybe she planned on buying it with her discount and didn't want you to buy it

I always hate buying pregnancy tests to be honest..im 21 and a lot of people assume things. My very first time going to buy pregnancy tests the lady said "Aren't you a little too young? Shouldnt your mother be with you?" I just looked at her and said "I'm 21 and responsible, im in a great situation in my life thank you." and walked away..Some days i just hate people

Lol! i sure hope she didnt want it :p Shes probably in her 60's.
I love hearing about peoples first time buying pregnancy tests! Feel free to share your stories :)

I look embarrassingly young for my age (I get 17, 18, 19 if I am lucky), and I am 25. People need to keep their judgments to themselves. I always feel as though I need to explain my age to people when I'm in certain age important situations-ie buying pregnancy tests... I have bought numerous tests at the dollar store, and I make sure the cashier is a bit older and not male, or I will leave and go to another $ store lol. If I were a cashier I'd say good luck and feel warm in my heart regardless of how old the person was. Even if a ten year old came in who is anyone to judge-you also don't know if the tests is for the buyer anyway... ugghh.. anyway.. rant over

haha you never know!:haha:

What a massive weirdo cashier. I've never heard of a cashier actually refusing to sell something based on their personal opinion of the product...wow...how odd! Whatever next? 'No you can't buy that cereal it's packed full of additives, buy the muesli or you're a bad mother!'

My MIL used to work at the pharmacy in a wal-mart. The pharmacist refused so sell plan b to anyone ( he didn't agree with it for his own religious reasons). Some people should just mind their business.

Why would she refuse? lol i dont get some people :p

I like most of you lol get nervous to buy pregnancy tests. I always order online because I live in a small town and don't need everyone to know lol. Actually DH orders them online. I could just imagine of they got checked at the post office when he went to pick them up (because they are in his name) what the postal worker would think. But I have had some inappropriate comments when buying pregnancy tests at walmart like don't buy that test because this ones cheaper and just as effective because they are trying to sell their own brand of test. I just won't buy them at walmart anymore I will go to shoppers drug mart to buy them if I need to.
