When to stop sterilising bottles?

My little one is being weaned now and is always putting things in his mouth- so when shall i stop sterilising bottles?

From what I understand from 6 months you don't need to sterilise things like weaning bowls and spoons but as milk can harbour bacteria ect It's best to still sterilise bottles! I could be wrong though but that's what we will be doing here

Yup. We sterilised bottles for as long as Ruby had them, so 14 months.

I thnk they recommend a year, but I've been pretty lazy over the past few days with sterilising. I don't sterilise her dummies, and she will put toys in her mouth, so I don't really see the point in sterilising bottles when I make the feeds cold and she gets bugs from putting other things in her mouth
