when to stop using infacol

hi a couple of weeks ago Sam was suffering really badly with trapped wind and wouldnt go down on his back in his cot would only sleep on us hv said it was cos warmth eased his tummy so we started using infacol and he started sleeping fine in cot again but over past couple of days seems to be the same again wont sleep at night for long at all in cot only on us so i stopped using infacol but that seemed to make it worse he started getting windy again also im convinced infacol is making him more sicky after feeds though oh reckons not im not sure what to do for the best.
also he is teething so that could be why he is unsettled at nightwould that still wake him up even if ive given him calpol.
