when to stop winding

when ffion goes to bed at night i take her up to her cot.. lay her down and then pop her bottle in her mouth, she holds it there till shes had enough then she falls asleep to her lullaby.

so obviously shes not being winded at her last feed.

during the day she burps all on her own and farts like a trooper so she doesnt need winding.

but im wondering if the reason why shes waking at night is because she has wind? she wakes after about 7 hours sleep?

any advice?

thats on a good night hun!

most of the time she'll sleep from 9 till midnight then every hour she'll wake up.

every time she wakes up i think of you being in the same situation, i know im not alone!

i wondered this too as charlie still is colicky and he falls alsleep on the boob before bed so i dont wind him and he wakes up alot still xx

Kaya's getting better now She'll sleep without waking until midnight, gets a feed, wakes two or three times before coming into our bed about 5am, where she'll get a feed and either sleep until 6am or get up wide awake and go round the room causing chaos until I give in and get up I've been up since 5.15 am today.

Wait a minute, did I say she was getting better?

I go down for a nap with her now lol

Hope she settles down before I get pregnant again.

I would think it would be. Bella always wakes up if I don't burp her. I think when they are lying down, especially sleeping, they still can't get it out. Usually as soon as I pick her up, she lets out a big burp. I really try to burp her before I put her down, sometimes she just will fall asleep on my shoulder though.

i also dont burp teddy when he's fallen asleep. I think 7 hours is pretty good before LO wants feeding maybe?
I actually heard Ted burp laying down all on his own the other morning. What a clever boy!
