is it just me or does it not seem like its just days away from xmas??? there are many people around my area with no tree, decorations or xmas lights up!!!! theres a load of crap on the telly lol and even the shops are not packed!! and whats more there doesnt seem to be any festive music playing in the shops either!!! has the world forgot xmas this year!!!!!

I know the feeling! I was thinking this myself while out the other night! Around here people are Ukrainian so they celebrate in January (I think) so there are hardly any lights or trees up! I think the economy has a big effect on Christmas this year also!

i think it's this whole recession thing going on... people don't have the money to go crazy, and i think it's depressing people.
a friend of mine went out for coffee today and we're talking about how it doesn't even feel like christmas to us, and it's 3 days away....

it's pretty good here!! One of our local stations has been playing xmas music exclusively for almost a week. There are alot of ethnics here who don't celebrate and get offended when you wish them a merry christmas.. it's all happy holidays instead but it seems like the poeple don't give a rats ass and are going all out anyways! The only schools in our city that celebrate and say merry christmas are the catholic schools. Public schools don't do any of that anymore.
