I had a baby bjorn with DS2 & DD, but didnt like them, the babys feet always seemed to hang/touch my csection scar

Also didnt like the way the babys face always seemed to squidge up on my chest, almost like they would be suffocated :dohh:

Which baby sling or carrier would you recommend please & why?

I have a combi it's good, but going to buy a ergo baby carrier for bub #2

Just a bog standard woven wrap. Think it's an ellaroo

I have a Papoozle for when baby is still small. It's like a stretchy wrap, but has a padded/buckled waist belt rather than having to tie it. I had a Moby wrap with Roo, but I found the actual wrapping bit a pain - I kept dropping the ends on the ground etc

I also have a soft-structured carrier, which is a Beco Butterfly 2. I have the newborn insert for it, but probably won't use it until Midgelet is a bit bigger.

I don't really know how long it'll be until I can use either of them following my section - I suppose it'll be trial and error, really!

Any more suggestions please Girls ~ Need to buy one asap! :winkwink:

I used an ergo - I don't remember it causing me any issues with my c sec. wound.

I used a hug-a-bub wrap and loved it! I think the company is based in Bondi (https://www.hugabub.com/) I had a vertical c section instead of a normal one, and I was carrying LO around the shops within 5 days using it. I have an ergo now LO is bigger, but to be honest, I found a wrap better for the first 3 months anyway :flower:

Thankyou :flower: I really like the look of this one

Can I just ask why you have now got an ergo? As I notice in the pictures, you can have older ones in this one

Mmmm.............

Im liking the look of the Mei Tai or Moby

Anyone had one of these?

I don't like a mei tei for wee babies, but they're fab for bigger babies (3/4 months onward)

I had a moby which I loved (it was winter here when I bought it) but Isaac is a very hot and sweaty boy and there is no way I would be able to wear him in it in the hot Aussie summer.

I now wear him in a hug a bub ring sling which you can wear newborns in as well. Imho they are nice and light weight and much more suited to our climate. I love mine so much that I am going into business as a distributor so maybe I am a little biased :haha:

Thats 2 votes for the hugabub ~ From those living in Australia :winkwink:

I love my mei tai and it is totally possible to use them with newborns, but I recommend a wrap for the early days. Victoria the Sling Lady does lovely stretch wraps (much cheaper than mobys).
