Which day do I count as cd1?

Hi ladies!
This month my period was all out of wack, I usually count cd1 as my first day of red flow, but this month there wasn't really a day of "real flow" it waas brown spotting/red spotting/clots, sorry tmi! Very light starting on the 28th.
I'm not pregnant but happy to go on to a new month!
I just don't know when to count from!
Any ideas?

Id count when you started bleeding then, if you didnt have a red flow..

Do you use fertility friend? If not I recommend it if only for tracking your cycles x

I had a cycle kinda like that, really light etc I chart so because my LP is always 11 days I just went with that. I think it worked out just fine
