Hello, me and my dh are thinking about ttc 2! And I know it's a bit forward thinking but I love these two girls names and wondered what you thought?

Prefer Astrid. It's German and certainly not made up!

Astrid is a bit harsh
but
saffron is quite 'chavvy' its the name of a few 'hairdressers' around here you know the orange tanned, bleach blonde, fake eyelash, failed school, tattoos on hands kind of girls

Saffron is better, if still a bit odd. I like Sage better, for example. Astrid makes me think of a curse word phrase. I really don't like it.

Of the two I do like Saffron. I wouldn't blink if someone named their child that--it is a fine name
