So I'm using Cow & Gate formula for my daughter and on the tub it says 'discard any unfinished feeds within 2hours' so if she hasn't finished the bottle I've replaced the lid and kept it aside just incase she decides she wants it. However my midwife said I can only keep it for 30mins. What would you do? If I did this I'd be constantly using new bottles!

It's 2 hours. I've never heard of it being 30 minutes and I would say your midwife is wrong. It could be that's the advice for a preemie or a sick baby in hospital? For a normal healthy baby, I'd go by the 2 hour rule. I've in a pinch used a bottle as long as 3 hours after making it (not often, but when I didn't have another easy option) and it was fine.

Would you still say 2hours if baby had started but not finished bottle?

Yep that's what I do. Sometimes she will only have half the bottle so I keep the other half for 2 hours in the hope she'll have that.
