Who got engaged during their pregnancy?

Did you wait a while? Do a civil ceremony, or wait until later to have a full wedding? We got engaged Saturday night but I'm 6 months along now and really look forward to meeting my little boy rather than planning any wedding!!! OH would like to be legally married prior to our son's birth. I don't want a big wedding (I didn't want one at all), maybe just a really nice summer BBQ?

Got engaged day LO was born, poor OH had forgotten how swolen my hands were so had to wear the ring on a chain for a few weeks lol. The summer bbq idea sounds nice. Im trying to plan something low key but OH is his mums baby so she wants this huge thing with a band and everything, grr. stick to your guns make it about you and OH.

LOL I'm sorry, I had to laugh!! He must have been a bundle of nerves and not thinking straight I'm in the exact same position as you (Catholic MIL thinks we should have something big).

How old is your LO going to be at your wedding? Ours will be around 1. My girlfriend got married with her 1 year old and he kept screaming throughout the ceremony It was still cute.
