Has anyone ordered from carseats.se and if so what was your experience like? we got our car seat picked out but thought id try and get some reviews on them before i part with £230 :)

*please note - i started this thread simply for reviews only and not to start a debate about which car seats are best*

I've heard a lot of very good things about them and will probably get mine from there :)

I haven't used them but I have two extended rear facing seats (one in a BMW 330, one in a Freelander) which I am very pleased with - a Maxi Cosi Mobi and the Be Safe one.

We bought ours from Paul Stride in York who are excellent. Just make absolutely sure that the seat will fit your car - for example when we went to get a seat for our BMW we wanted the BeSafe - according to the book etc it should have fitted but due to the runners on the front passenger side seat the leg just wouldn't fit in. About four people looked and they were very puzzled but it just wouldn't go! Apparently there are sometimes small changes to the model of car and unfortunately that ment that it wouldn't fit! We bought the Mobi instead though and we are very, very happy with it.

If at all possible I would say to go and have one fitted from one of the approved retailers but I know that they are few and far between so its not always possible.

yeah i been having many email convos with someone from carseats.se - came up with a ERF seat that fits even in mini coopers.

the good thing is we just sold our car as it was not practical so we can make sure it fits in the new car before we buy it :)

Thats great!!

I think we were just unlucky and lucky and the same time :haha:

After wanting the BeSafe in the BMW and ending up with the Mobi, when I took my Freelander I wanted another Mobi - only to find it wouldnt fit and I would need the BeSafe :haha:

the one we getting is the britax hi-way :) its designed for small cars :)

I'm going to be getting an ERF seat (RF to 6 years) from carseats.se once she has outgrown the infant carrier at some point this year. It's Britax.

I heard really good things about this website.

I just ordered the Britax Hi-Way from them. Only just ordered it so it has not arrived yet, but so far I can't praise their service highly enough. I have had lots of long email converdations with a man called Harken who gave me loads of advice about the features of all the different seats and advised me on which one would best suit all my requirements. They are very helpful and respond very quickly to email enquiries. We went for this seat because it is designed for smaller cars and can easily be moved from one car to another.

I can't recommend carseat.se enough. We got a Graco DuoLogic 2, as it's compact enough that it will fit in most cars, and had the option of being fitted with either Isofix or seatbelt (loving the flexibility of that!).

Hakan is so knowledgeable and pleasant, he was really helpful.

My seat actually arrived sooner than I was expecting it to, and it was in perfect condition.

I'd recommend carseat.se to anyone and everyone

Eala how is the duologic 2? I remember you said you had quite a small car does it fit quite well? I think that's the one I will be getting
