Okay, I'm 14 dpo and I usually always start spotting/period on 13 dpo and I've got nothing. Testing tomorrow, but my question is, can Prometrium suppositories delay AF even if you've ovulated? I know that when you ovulate, no matter what, you should have your period 12-14 days after that but I'm wondering if the progesterone supplements can delay my period at all? If you have any experience with this, either way, PLEASE give me your input! Thanks!!!

I am on Prometrium, and my doctor told me that AF would most likely not come until I stopped the meds after a BFN. Last month was my first month on it, and I spotted a bit at 11 dpo (I started spotting at 7dpo before the Prometrium), but AF did not come until 2 days after I stopped taking the meds. Test tomorrow!!! Lots and lots of :dust: to you!!!

I am also on Prometrium and it has delayed my period before. I am not saying that is the case for you just that it is possible. Sending you positive energy, hopes, and prayers!!!

yes it will most likely delay your period. I have to take a hpt and if I think I am pregnant I have toe get a blood draw to confirm at 14dpo. If I am not pregnant I stop taking the progesterone, and it usually takes 4-5 days for my period to come. I am taking 2x200mg twice a day in a vaginal suppository.

I think creams are less potent.

The worst part of progesterone for me is that they mimic pregnancy symptoms. Sore boobs, fatigue, slight nausea etc. so now I can't even trust my body to know f I am pregnant. Boo.

I'm the same way....I take progesterone cream on days 10-28 and then my period is supposed to start within 3 days after. If it doesn't, I start the cream again and test. But you're right.....I have pseudo preggo symptoms with this cream and I hate it....totally not fair! lol

Oh well, just gotta rely on a missed period to see if I'm preggo, I guess. Symptom spotting=crazy stress!

Thanks for your help, ladies. I'm 16 dpo, still have high temps, and absolutely 0 sign of AF. The last Prometrium suppository I took was Froday night (9th day of P. Pills) and have had a lot more "symptoms" now that I'm off it. When I took it to induce a period (didn't o that cycle) I started spotting right away so I'm choosing to be positive at this point : )

Guys, I have another question if anyone can still help me with this??? I think Prometrium totally whacked my cycle this time. I'm 18 dpo today... I've had 18 days of high temps since I ovulated, but I just took a hpt and got a bfn???? The last day I took Prometrium was Friday which was 11 dpo... it wouldn't still be messing with my temps, would it?? I'm so confused.

Didn't want to read and run but I'm afraid I don't know about this.

I hope that this is your :bfp: but it just isn't showing yet.
