..always assume that your baby is hungry if its crying! "Ohh I think he's hungry here you go...!" It drives me nuts and because Im b/feeding its like " oh right over to me then!" Sometimes he has just been fed! Grrr! :hissy:

OMG thats sooooooooooooooo funny my oh does that 2 me all the time its soooooooooooooo ANNOYING isnt it, i'm glad someone else gets that to. i feel your pain, i fed jack for about 20mins the other night then gave him to oh then 5mins later jack was crying and oh goes i think hes hungry i was like i feed him 5mins ago lol

God. My DH always does this. It is so annoying. It's like his get out clause. If he can't settle her, he just passes her back to me and says "she's hungry". I think some men know that ultimately the responsibility lies with us, and they take advantage of it. Sorry to rant, but my hubby went to be an hour ago and he is supposed to help me with her at weekends so I'm p'ed off!

awww no fair

I totally understand!

I 'booked' a sleep in last night with my hubby, as jasper usually wakes at 5am for a chat and play and every morning i get up and take baby out of the bedroom so my hubby can get a few extra hours sleep before work.

This morning baby woke at 5, after i fed and changed him by 5:30 i woke hubby and handed him over. At 6:30 hubby comes in, wakes me because 'baby is hungry'... he hands me Jasper and gets back into bed and falls asleep and then sleeps til midday!!!! THANKS!!!

So unfair! x

My hubby tries everything before he hands him over ot me. In fact, at the moment, Oliver is going through a growth spurt. I keep trying to fed him and Karl won't hand him over, because he says he only fed half an hour ago!
I've got to say, that he is only so good after I lost the plot a few weeks ago. He soon learnt that he's his baby too!!!

adam used to but hes learnt not to after a few tongue lashings x

My OH does this too! I've taken to telling him when I think Cormack will want feeding again to pre-empt it!!

This is when i'm glad elliot has bottles now lol, but when i was bfeeding it was a pain.

keely.

aww... OH does that to me all the time, i mean every day. even now LO doesn't feed very often maybe every 2-3 hours and i know i just fed him so i give him to OH to take care while i do stuff and 5 min later if he cries or starts moaning ,OH is like "honey, he's hungry", "honey, he needs some food", funny and annoying sometimes, lol

I so know how you feel hun:hugs: My OH's family freinds used to all do the same...as soon as he would cry they'd be like...feed him!...why aren't you feeding him...i used to get so so annoyed so much! All i wanted to say was f*** off :hissy:
