Why does my son have to squich all of his food to bits???

My son is the messiest eater on the planet. It's diabolical the messes he makes. LOL. This morning he was eating a nutrigrain bar and had to squish the whole thing into a million pieces all over the table and floor....sigh. DH said we should stop giving him cereal bars, to which I laughed because its not the cereal bars, its all food period. I think he just likes it squishing in his hands.

Anyone elses lo an extreme mess maker like mine?

My lo is the same, the dog loves it though... Extra snacks!!

I think it's just exploring the textures with different foods as it's a whole new play thing

Yeah my dogs are in their element at the minute - especially as we have just started introducing meat!!

My LO is much younger than yours but everything is squished to within an inch of its life - soooo messy!!!

I know its fun for them but I have to agree it can be a bit frustrating! And I don't have a dog for clean up either!

Yesterday dd squished a piece of butternut and proceeded to spread it all over her face and head! It was hideous to clean!

Since I'm lacking the dog....I put colton on the floor after dinner for clean up duty. Lol!
