I had my downs screening test at 12+4 I am now 15+2 (so nearly 3 weeks ago) I still haven't received my results in the post yet  with my pregnancy with DS I got my results back within a fortnight so I'm wanting to know why it's taking so long this time? If by some reason they have got lost in post or not sent will my midwife have the results? I see my midwife next week for my 16 week appt so I will enquire but other than that who do I telephone for my results?

Your me can get them for you, if you call her she may already have them or be able to get them for you. Took about 3 weeks for mine to come through.

Mine never arrived this time around, which i wasn't pleased about. I had my 12 week scan where the NT screening was done, and still no letter by the time I was back there at 20 week scan. The only reason I didn't go crazy was they said if there is ANY problem they always telephone pretty much immediately. Any not so good news wouldn't be done by letter but by phone.

I mentioned it at my 20 week scan and she said looking at the measurements again at that stage it was highly unlikely there was any problems and just said again that they would have been ringing and ringing if there was.

My first baby the results still took a few weeks but I at least got them...this was with another hospital though.

I would call your mw and ask what's going on. I got mine that same day.

I wouldn't worry. Mine took around 3 weeks to come through.

I was told that if my results were high risk I'd be contacted within a couple of days so if take no news as good news. When my results eventually did come through my risk was 1:50,000.

You'd have been contacted by now if the results showed anything worrying.

My doctors office has a policy of not sharing unless there's something wrong. Kind of frustrating but in this case it's true: no news is good news

I agree no news is no news. I'm in the US. But, I don't get results until my next appointment after testing which is 4 weeks. Unless something is wrong, then I'd be notified as soon as the Dr. received the results.
