I thought we had picked a very traditional name that doesn't really get the spelling altered to look different and so should be fairly easy for everyone to get right.
But I've just been looking through his birthday cards and tags for his scrapbook and we've had all sorts of spellings.
Jo, Joe, Joeseph, Josheph, Joesph and even one Joseif.
I'm used to people getting my name wrong but I was surprised we had so many shortened versions and spelling mistakes on a name I thought everyone would get right.
He was named after my grandad and even my Aunt wrote Josheph on her gift tag and he's named after her Dad so she ought to know how we spell it.
Does this happen to anyone elses names when you thought the spelling would be obvious to everyone.
