I thought it may become popular now that Prince George has arrived.

What does everyone think? Xx

Quite possibly! I already know a few Georgias though, mostly around my brother's age (15) There were three Georgias in his class, it used to drive him mad! (his name is George)

I know of 2 babies named Georgia... and that was before the prince was named. I'd say it's possible

This is my daughter's name but it's spelt 'Jorja' (actually it's Jorja-Jo) and she is 5 now so named long before the little prince.

it probably will. I personally think it is a pretty name. I know a couple who named their first daughter Georgia.

lol, It's a better name than Virginia I think. (state names came to mind)

How about Georgiana for a twist on it?

I think this is more traditional and Georgia more modern.

I'm in the minority but I don't think Prince George will have much influence on the name Georgia. It's quite often up there in the popular names anyway.

We've planned to name this baby Georgia if girl since we got our BFP and love the name. I was a little worried about it becoming over popular after they announced that they'd named the baby prince George - but hey-ho! we've decided we love the name so we're not that bothered anyway. x
