Will my baby get sick?

My throat has been bothering me for more than a few days now, and one of my tonsils is swollen. I've always had problems with my tonsils, so I'm not sure if I'm getting sick, or it's just my tonsil bugging out. If I am sick, or do I end up getting sick, will I pass it onto my baby? I'm terrified of him getting sick.

If you are breastfeeding then as your body starts fighting the illness and builds up an immunity to it you will pass this on to your baby through your breastmilk. I have had a sore throat and a bit of a cold this winter and thankfully my lo hasn't caught it.

Just be extra cautious over the next few days, washing hands and limiting kisses to the forehead and hopefully he will be ok.

Its impossible to protect them from everything but I would definitely limit the kisses and keep taking some tablets to keep away the bugs.
