We have had some problems with latch but only on my right breast, for some reason he doesn't open his mouth properly on that side! Anyway I am now tricking him by holding him rugby ball style but the last 5 days of bad latch has left my poor nipple very mangled, bleeding and sore.
Can I just feed him from the left side for a day or two, and just pump on the damaged side until it doesn't hurt so much? The thought of feeding on that side is making me feel physically sick
Will this mess up supply or anything?
