Will the birth be longer or shorter than the first time?

Hey Ladies,
I am just curious....I know doctors say labor/delivery differs for each child but I wanted to know how many of you mommies found your subsequent labor/delivery to be quicker than your first labor/delivery experience?

Including latent phases I spent 30 hours in labour with DS1 compared to 8.5 hours with DS2.

I voted yes but there was actually only 20 mins in it. All 3 of my labours have been around the same time, 3 hours something, and have got quicker by 20 mins each time.

For my first child I was in labour for 12 hrs..2nd child was 6 and 3rd was 3. Currently expecting number 4 and scared to death I will deliver in the car on the way to the hospital!! Hope not lol

Second stage with Imogen was six hours, with Teddy it was six minutes.

LOL OMG Kimberly!!! I can see why you're scared....I pray you do make it to the hospital...I guess the upside is that you probably know your body real well and should be able to tell if you are possibly in labor...I am praying and rooting for you girl! you had some quick deliveries...

Wow Momma!!! you had some quick deliveries...I have never heard of Imogen...Is it a drug for pain medication? inducing labor?...I am sorry if I seem dumb

Thanks so much lol I pray every night! Hubby is so worried I will deliver quick..he keeps his shoes by the bed lol not sure that's going to help in worst case scenario..but whatever makes him feel better I guess

Im liking how so far they have all been shorter makes me feel a little more at ease about birthing this baby (#2) Fingers crossed my 2nd time labour isnt as long as my 1st x

My first was 9 hours, my second was 4 hours, my 3rd was 1.5 hours so if they are halving then I should be done in about 45 mins this time
