Don't know why I'm posting but I don't know what else to do right now. Had the devastating news today that DH's semen analysis came back with 0% motility. Consultant thinks it's been caused by a hermia operation he had when he was a toddler. Our consultant has referred DH to UCL for further investigations but he basically said ICSI/IVF is our only option. Except it's not an option because we aren't eligible for it on the NHS and there is no way whatsoever we could ever afford it privately.

Give me something positive. Please. Do we have any hope at all? We are both completely and utterly devastated. It feels like the world has stopped spinning

Sorry to hear, I found out 2 years ago my husband had zero sperm, due to his lower back issues earlier that year. I collapsed and cried for days with the news... ICSI is the only way in our situation, I have done it 3 times and unfortunately they all fail  I pray things work out for you and you get the help you need for treatment x don't let my story put you off as many women get success after their first try, being told my husband has no sperms was painful in itself, and now failing each ivf i think what the hell now???!!

Your very very blessed to have a small child to call you mommy xx I hope a sibling for your child will soon follow. Good luck x

I'm really sorry hun....I can't even imagine :(

Do they have 'mini-IVF' overseas? It's a lot less expensive. Maybe that would be a possibility?
