woohoo for sleep

Well little Amelia done really well last night.....

She fed at 8.30pm then went to bed and didn't feed agin till 5.30am!!!!!

She did wake at 3am (she would normally have a feed around this time) but seemed chilly so i gave her a dummy, put an extra blanket on her and she went back to sleep!!!!!! Can't believe it!

Long may it continue (maybe minus the 3am dummy stop )

hmmmm have just been 'told' that i should've actually got her out of her cot and fed her as apparantly babies of Amelia's age should be/will NEED to be fed if they have slept 5/6 hrs or more........ worried now! What if she was hungry and i just didn't feed her??????

Any thoughts?

Im sure she would let you know if she needed feeding Thats great tho hun. And lots of newborns sleep 8-12hrs straight etc so there not fed??? XxX

If your LO was hungry she would not have went back to sleep
she would have let you know she wanted fed hun. xx

I think we were told to wake Ally but that was at less than 2 weeks old! I reckon at 9 (?) wks it's okay.

God, I wish Ally would sleep like Amelia is doing!

Thanks girls - am really hoping that she follows suit tonight and sleeps through till the same time - or even later!!!
