For those of you looking to be induced, a doula friend of mine shared with me a link to the "Bishops scoring table" which is apparently used to decide how successful and induction might be.

Basically, if your score is too low, as much as you might be desparate to have your baby arrive asap, it isn't really a good idea to induce because it could result in a very prolonged labour and/or an emergency c-section in the end.
