Have you considered mystery shopping? Basically going to shops and asking specific questions to assess their customer service. Yes you need to go out and about to do it, but my OH earns over £500 a month just doing this at weekends, and we get a lot of nice free meals too. On the moneysavingexpert up your income forum there are some great threads on how to get started and which companies are worth working for, or pm me for a referral.
I know there is a company called teletech where you do call centre work from home, obviously you can't have children crying/playing in the background though and you have to be available to answer the calls when you're on shift so it's not so handy if you need to be keeping an eye on children.
There really is very, very little work from home opportunities available, as so many people would like them. Don't forget you need to declare any home income to the tax man, you probably won't go over the threshold and actually have to pay tax, but it may affect any benefits you currently receive.
