I'm looking to see if anyone else is a working mom or future mom ( pregnant like me) that provides the main income for their family? I don't mean single mother but rather their husband or OH makes less than they do or provides less than half the family income? I'm just stressed with all my new found financial responsibility!

Ment to add you will be able to claim child tax credits once baby arrives

I'm not looking for tax credit just others to talk to.

I'm in the same position, I make a good amount more than my DH. I'm going to be going back to work after 12 weeks home and am stressing out about it...

I am! I'm the breadwinner and hubby is the stay at home dad!!! Its a responsibility but don't let it stress you - I have a commission based job so I HAVE to perform, but I keep calm by remembering I can only do my best - so far its worked well and I like having control of the money :) - I wanna buy my bubba another adorable outfit he doesn't need no one can say anything - ha ha!

Not sure it's at all the same- but I'd think similar-- as I do make more income. Not a huge difference, but we both have to work to provide for our family-- we keep our finances seperate, so there is never an arguement over money, and we just split the bills. Right now- so hubby can get his cars paid off, I pay the mortgage and he pays all the other household bills. So I do pay out more-- but if I ever need some extra cash he'll get me some. That's just how it works well for us.

Is there something specific your stressing about? Is this something new? Just trying to understand more... :) I'm sure you'll get it all sorted out hun- try not to stress. If needed, just sit down and write out a family budget... and then do what makes sense.
