Working tax credits - partner

Can I claim working Tax credits with my partner? We both live with my parents but he's still registered at his parents house. Will they still consider us a partnership.

I also rang for a claim pack and said both our wages which in total is just over 14k. I work 10 hours and he works 40 - they said I'm only eligible for £72 a week :/. The online calculator says much more. When I fill in the forms will they work it out properly. Surely with working tax credit and child tax, we should get more?

yes it will, but you said he was registered at a different address
