Worried about what hubby is getting me!

I have told my hubby a list of things that I want, I have 4 things under the tree already, I have asked for 4 cds and I think there is only 1 inder the tree at the m o, he still has more shopping to do but he just told me that he has a xmas bonus from work and is gonna spend more on a prezzie for me, what he has in mind is quite pricey and hes finding it hard to find on the net, first of all I thought it might be the drums for the playstation so I told him that I dont want that, then he just came down and started rummaging through the drawer in the kitchen where I keep my Ipod nano that he suprised me with last year but I dont use it so Im now worrying that its linked to that but Im hoping not coz I dont use it, I know I sound ungrateful but I just dont want a prezzie that I wont use, Ive asked for slippers and I bet he 4gets to get them and thats one thing I really want, I know I sound a cow but I worry every xmas coz Im not very good at pretending that I like prezzies when I dont, I also hate suprises, what shall I do? Help

Hmmm maybe he is getting you one of those Ipod docking stations that works like a radio?! I NEVER EVER used my ipod until I got one of the docking stations and use it all the time now!
I know what you mean tho! I gave OH a list of a few things I wanted..and I am pretty sure he got me 1 thing from the list and maybe a few other things..but there are about 12 things under there and I'm thinking ummmmm I only asked for a few small items and some cds!

Ah bless, I know I sound ungrateful but Id be happy as long as I got a pair of slippers, there really comfy ones, there like the ones on the Harveys advert, I so want them, then my old ones I can pack into my hospital bag

Ok he just told me that he was looking at the Ipod nanos with the video on and the docking station but coz the comment I made hes now not getting it, phew

Hes asked me what else I want, wrong time to ask me coz Im tired and it annoys me abit that weve been together nearly 9 years and still doesnt really know what I like whereas I can go out and get stuff knowing he will like it, I know men and women are different but it gets to me abit.

I told him he could get me a new watch, he then asked if I want one with a strap, Ive never liked these sort, i always have the similar style, silver linked style, Im sounding like a bitch, Im so tired, I told him to ask me 2moz when Im not tired coz I'll end up telling him he should know what I like by now, aarggh, bless him

Oh my god, this is so like my Hubby. 11 years we've been together and every christmas eve - yes, he leaves it till then, he goes off out and after 2-3 hours rings me and asks me what I want because he's been in every shop and can't find anything. It really bothers me because I don't get how he can't find something he knows I'll like. We shop together all the time and I am always saying oooh and aaaahh at things so it's not like he doesn't know me. Last birthday he bought me a pile of useless stuff - creams and body products I don't use, and practical things I would just buy if I needed them. The only things he's ever bought me that I've loved, I've asked for specifically. I would love to have a surprise gift from him that I liked... but it will never happen. Luckily we never spend more than about £30-£40 quid on each other, so at least not too much money is wasted. Men are useless.

I just tell my OH what I want and he gets me it. This year its my WII yayyyyyy.


Anyway, try and not be too hard on him, it's clearly a male thing.

My OH is now really worried that I'm not going to like my presents because I told him one of his is worth £300 I honestly don't care, because this is the first time he's actually put thought into my prezzies...because he didn't get me anything for my birthday and I made a big deal out of it... I do wuvs him the silly sausage.

I just mention things again, eg "All I really want for xmas is something from you(could be substituted with 'slippers')"

My OH has got me some jewellery (he was going to get off ebay, but missed the auction and had to go and buy it from town...which sounds okay! ^_^ I was worried it was a cheapy japanese set or something) and he's making me something (which was jewellery related, when I was making it more...so a stand maybe??)...and he's got me something else I didn't know about.....

I'm more excited about the prezzies I got him!

Well, I have no idea what I am getting either to be honest. I asked for a Nintendo DS, but he said he had ordered me something on the internet. So I don't think it is one of those. Why ask me what I want, and then not get it for me?

I quizzed him about my prezzies the other day and said I dont think the slippers are there that I want, he said that he cant find them anywhere, I had a little search online and found them straight away, he has got a credit card he could use then give me the money which i would bank then pay the card of but he didnt think of that, all I want is some slippers how sad is that, my mum was here when we were talking about it and I was about to order myself some off the net and she said she is gonna look round the shops to find me some so can I wait till after xmas, my hubby wasnt looking in the right place in the shop even tho I have pointed them out to him b4 only a couple of weeks ago so Im hoping to get my slippers from my mum instead, if not I'll be online on xmas day putting an order thru

Men hey, but Im not gonna be too hard on him, he has got me 7/8 prezzies and I know he has tries HIS best so I'll let him off bless him

I was chuffed, I got a really nice watch, ear-rings, 3 cd's, choccies, dolce and gabanna the one perfume and my mum got me the slippers I wanted and a few other bits, Ive had a lovely day
