I came into this subforum in February as FOB disappeared after a planned pregnancy. I haven't heard from him at all since January. Now Lara's due any day. It feels so surreal! But since then I've been accepted into university, got my own place and bought her everything she needs while he goes out with his new girlfriend. I have everything ready for child support and custody too. Sigh. I will never understand what happened but I've dealt. I only feel anything close to hurt when things are going wrong (money issues, getting sick, etc.) because I think he should be dealing with it!! But otherwise I'm fine.

You should be so proud of yourself! Well done on getting into university and give the hurt and sadness time to dissolve if only we could wave a magic wand and everything is all better eh? Its his loss anyway.. Despite all the things he put you through you have done amazingly well!! your princess will be so proud to have a mummy like you!
