i have just started thinking of what to get Joshua for christmas.

hes only having £150
do you think its ok to have a low budget?

on his list so far..

Electric powered quad bike. £80
Aqua draw £10
toy hoover £12

total: £102

i wanted to get him a pop up tunnel thing but cant find a cheap one.
im becoming an Usborne Organiser so hoping to et some free books for him.

then there is his stocking.
teddies
chocolates
crafty bits

Any ideas of what else i could get him as his main presents?

from family hes getting:
a car garage
a v-tech laptop
drum kit.

maybe ill just get him a few little bits to bulk up his presents.

I havent really got any ideas, but your budget sounds absolutely fine to me. We are spending much less than that on MOlly between her birthday and christmas. We have loads of family buying her big presents so we have no big things left ot get. It makes me feel kind of guilty but if they want to spoil her they can!

Im not spending anywhere NEAR that either!!

Iv bought Brooke a few clothes,, a wooden toddle truck with Bricks in it, 3 books and a bath toy.

Its her birthday in January too so Ill have to get her more presents then.

Have you tried amazon for Books? they're generally pretty good? I got B 3 board books off there for £10! x

I'm only spending about £150 on each of mine and they are older and have asked for all sorts, i've bought everything they are getting now and they each have about 16 things to open each including a main present each. I don't think how much you spend is a issue when they are young just wait till there teenagers lol.
Have you looked in argos at the 2 for £15 toys there seems to be quite a lot in different age ranges x

thanks for your replys.

ive been very cheeky and told the family what to get him.

im gonna keep looking but yes ive considered argos.

Boots have popup bits but their website is down. I'll add a link when it's back up x

thats a great budget they dont understand anyway hun so dont worry

mega blocks (big lego stuff) do a selection of "pull apart" cars - they are really big n chunky, ideal for little hands. all parts can fit other cars and you can add the bricks to make them high etc. my middleson got these for his 1st birthday and has only just stopped playing with them at 4yrs.

Sounds like you are well organised...you will sure have a happy little baby  xx

We are only spending around £60 on Harri (2yrs) and about £30 on James (will be 2 and a half months). For Harri we got him a drs set, Gator Golf, a Thomas the Tank train set, a bath toy which is like a basketball hoop, Aristocats on DVD, Kung Fu Panda on DVD, and Monsters Inc on DVD. For James we got some Lamaze toys. Harri has alot of extended family as he is from OHs previous relationship, and James is very special as I was told I would never have kids so is going to be spoilt rotten by my family!

thanks guys.
he already has the mega blocks bricks.

i think i have found everything i want to get him.
its gonna take all day to open presents.
