Yay!!!! She's got it!!!

Pointless post really, had my first baby, a little girl 15/6/13 and have really struggled getting her to latch, every feed has been a 30min battle with screaming to get her on and by then she falls asleep within 5mins as she tired herself out.
Well she suddenly got it yesterday latched and fed for 10-20mins every feed with no struggle and no crying, also slept the whole night in the Moses basket and not on my chest with no upset and had 2 4 hour sleeps. I'm so relieved, was getting really worried that I wasn't doing well enough and wasn't being a good mum Happy happy happy xxx hope all are doing well

Well done! And this gives me hope. My lo is 3 weeks old tomorrow. Being 4 weeks early, she didn't latch properly and got very stressed that it wasn't coming out fast enough. Since theb, I've been expressing using a pump n feeding it by bottle buy want to revert to breast feeding if I can. Any tips on this? She's latched on and fed twice in the past few days but every other time she refuses n gets stressed.

No way a pointless post, an ace post! We struggled for a while to get a decent latch and it's the best feeling in the world when it starts working well.
