Hey ladies
Just got a call from my GP and found out that I have a yeast infection I wasn't aware of. Wonderful.

We're in cycle 7 now and nada. So I'm wondering how long I've had this and if it's thrown off our baby making efforts. I read that it can upset the Ph balance in your lady business.

Does anyone have experience with this and how it may (if at all) affect our chances?

The fungus that usually cause yeast infections is Candida. There are several species. It's the same fungus that causes thrush or skin yeast infections. A lot of women have Candida as part of their usual vaginal flora and only causes issues when it overgrows and out numbers other normal flora. Men can get yeast infections, but don't usually show symptoms. It really does not affect your fertility directly. It would affect your fertility if it's uncomfortable for you to have sex or so you and your partner aren't passing it back and forth. They usually clear up pretty quickly with treatment.
