Yet another FOB/OH rant.

Arghhh p*ssed off! Bigtime. Basically i already have my own car. Passed, it's insured, MOT'd, taxed, and on the road. Me and OH are struggling for money at the moment, he's on an apprentiship wage, which is terribly shit. And i have my little bit of money that helps when we need it. He's just told me he wants to get a car. I already have one, we was going to wait until we had enough money spare to just get him insured on my car so we can both use it. But now he wants a car of his own because 'he misses driving' he's also used the exuce he'd be able to take me to hospital appointments.
1) i drive myself, so why would i need a lift?
2) he's never around. Long distance job, so he's away sunday night until friday night/saturday morning. All of my appointments are during the week and he's never here for them. He's away all of november when i'm due, so he can't even use that exuce of needing a car to get me to hosp' when i'm in labour. I've done the normal thing of giving up ALL luxeries in order to save up for our LO. He put a measly £20 a month away for the baby, and now he wants to spend even more on a car, insurance, MOT, tax, petrol. It doesn't make sence. Feel like pulling my hair out am so stressed out!

Men will be men, selfish. Wont he soon realize for reality of paying for it? Specially on his wage I know what they are like.

Sometimes they just dont really get that they will need to be spending loads of money on a baby soon, my OH will think he needs to buy some super expensive thing but usually gets talked out of it....right now he wants a droid phone that will cost him $100 a month!

I think youd be better tellin home no use need all the money use can get saved for the baby why do men never understand things lol. if hes workin away all the time why would he need a car anyway? n at least use have 1 between yas thats better than nothing xxx

I think he just like the idea of driving around in his own car, without even thinking about how much it costs etc. I'm sure he will forget about it in a few days

God, they're so stupid. Mine's the same, but not for a car. Other things like Xbox live he's talking about getting etc and whereas us women think logically about what we need, they just think about what they want.

Just tell him you'll get him insured on your car and you can share it, but do it when you're both calm or you'll end up in a slanging match lol x
