I have ZERO appetite for the last week. And when I actually do have some cravings, its for Polish Kielbasa, which is all that Ive been eating. Can eating like crap decrease your milk quality/production? Do the mommy fat stores completely take over (which I have loads of!)

i sure hope so because ive been living on sandwiches!

Fat and protien is what you want for quality bm:)

I try to post more when LO settles :)

I wouldn't worry too much...baby will get what it needs. And I'm a firm believer that we crave what our body (and baby) needs...so your craving probably means you do need more fat and protein right now. Take a multivitamin if you can just to keep vitamins up...but I'm sure your appetite will return.

I crave yoghurt ice cream all the time....

I've been thinking the same because I'm not able to eat healthy all the time unless I actually cook a meal.. Which I haven't been feeling like doing much of lately.. I was also wondering about breast feeding at night.. do you have to eat during the night to make sure that your baby is getting nutritious milk?? My mom used to say that if I didn't wake up and eat something before feeding the baby, that she would have gas.. I'm not sure if thats true..

Just eat a normal healthy diet. Eat healthy snacks/meals when you are hungry and drink a good amount of fluids and it'll be fine.

I've not heard the thing about gassiness if you don't eat.
