My son is Alastair Fox.
I believe that Alasdair is the gaelic version of Alexander, but we went for the english spelling as I thought the people around here wouldn't know how to pronounce the gaelic spelling. It means "man's defender".
And Fox because we like the x-files! haha.

And DS1 is Jonah which means Dove.

Maddox - Welsh. Means "Good", "Generous", or "Fortunate"

But we didn't pick the names because of their meanings. We just like the way they sound.

Plus, I'm a huge fan of Stephen Colbert.

We're not 100% decided yet but Everette Annyka is what we're thinking of

Everette - courageous as a boar (the boar part is wierd, but I like the courage part because I think her daddy is just about the bravest person I know after his 2 cancer battles)

Annyka - means grace/gracious. We're spelling it this way (rather than Aneke/Anika/etc) because Ann is the middle name of my mum and DH's mom and Kay is my gramma's middle name...so combining the two and moving the "Y" gives us Annyka

We're naming our little girl Alia Yvonne

Alia- Arabic name meaning "Exalted"
Yvonne- This was my mother's middle name. She passed away when I was 11, and so we're giving her middle name to our daughter to honor her.

Faith Maggie.

Faith means what it says. I was origionally told I'd never Concieve but that is certainly never carry past 12wks. We had Faith. That's what she is.

Maggie is my Nanas name who prayed for us and with us for her. She sadly passed away before I found out I was pregnant. I wanted to honour her.

not a fan of the middle name, but OH has been great and I knew it would make him happy to keep the tradition going.. but next time, I get to pick the name. either way, everybody has grown font of little J's name and I'm happy with our decision

Well we don't really have a meaning behind our LO's name. Harrison is just a name that DH and I both love. DH has now said, however, that he think we should have John as his middle name instead of James... But I'm not so sure! Opinions welcome on which you ladies like better... Harrison James or Harrison John...?

I love the name Everette! It's very unusual! Specially for a girl, but it's really nice too

I love my little boy's name and the meaning behind each part of his name. I decided to give him two middle names and I love them both. For me, a name has to have a good meaning.

Ronan - Little Seal

My DH chose my boys name...

Kit - he will be named after a farmer that was one of my DHs earliest childhood memories, he has a fond recollection on visiting his farm with his grandad when he was a little boy.

I threw the gauntlet down when I agreed he could pick if it's a boy and I got to pick if it was a girl. The name has grown on me now though.

He, Maple, we also agreed that he would choose the name if it was a girl and I'd choose it if a boy. However, we had chosen the girl's name well before we even started TTCing. He did make me promise I wouldn't change my mind, as a condition to TTC, though
But I looove the name, so no changing my mind.

Amelia means "work" or "labor"
Jane means "god is gracious"

Honestly, we didn't think of the meanings, we just love Amelia and Jane is my DH's gran's name. I think they go great together =)

My son will be Logan Po Liu (actually pronounced bo-lee-yew).

The meaning of the name Logan is From The Hollow
The origin of the name Logan is Irish

He's actually named for our friend Logan that we lost in an accident a few years ago.

Po Liu is his Chinese name, meaning "precious blaze". This was DH's grandfather's name and we wanted to honor DH's Chinese lineage and family.

Quinn is a name we both loved and Starlet is after my Aunt Starlet and my grandfather, whose name is Star. My family has Native American heritage and at least one person every generation is named after some aspect of the night sky. The tradition was started several generations ago because the babies in my family tend to be born at night. I really hope she decides to come at night too!

Jaycie- Healer. I was under a mountain of stress and depressed to the point of dark thoughts after a few intense family situations. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped being reckless and my mood actually improved. LO saved my life just by coming into existence and I believe she deserved a lot of credit. So I named her "healer."
Alexandria- Female form of Alexander, previously mentioned as man's defender. I'm thinking with the names "healer" and "defender" she has a good shot at being a doctor or lawyer. No pressure, sweetie! But I have always loved the name Alexandria. Even if OH's name is Alex. He can get over it- its not my fault his parents had good taste in names. ^_^
