Zantac and conception

Hi

I'm currently 3dpo. At 1dpo I took 1 75mg zantac tablet for heartburn. I am really panicking that if by any chance I am pregnant I caused harm during conception by taking this.

Anyone else ttc and take Zantac regularly?

I have read on here that loads of women are taking it whilst pregnant, so it cant be that bad right?

I may seem a bit neurotic but my 8 year old was born with a brain abnormality, I didn't take any tablets when I conceived or was pregnant with him.

Please help.

I think its ok as it is prescribed in pregnancy routinely, however maybe seek and opinion fromn your gp if you do indeed find out you are pregnant. Good luck with the 2ww.

my doc told me zantac is fine during pregnancy, while other acid reducers aren't. turns out i wasn't pregnant at the time, but better safe than sorry.

Zantac is fine. It is the one that is prescribed to those ttc and pregnant
