I'm not the original poster but my son has special needs and was displaying adhd signs...
He is 10 now. He was diagnosed with a very rare genetic condition and has a moderate/severe learning disability. No ADHD. He is in a special needs unit attached to a mainstream primary and September 2022 he will transition to a fully special needs school.
I didn't think life would turn out this way but he is thriving and happy
