I had an etopic and my left tube removed September 28th 2023. Since then I have not had a cycle to go based off of but I have been doing ovulation tests consistently. I will begin tempting tomorrow morning as well for further confirmation of ovulation. Hopefully I will get a bfp this month and baby will be right where he/she needs to be.

I think its unusual that you haven't had a cycle since September. Do you think you could get a scan / go to a fertility specialist to ask them to kick-start a cycle for you? That way you know where exactly you are in a cycle. I had "disappearing" cycles when I was TTCing for my first one. I could go for months without a period so I never knew where I was in a cycle. I went to a fertility specialist who did an ultrasound on me, ran some bloodwork and started me on clomid to help me to ovulate. I didn't get pregnant immediately but at least my cycles were kick-started back. I conceived on my 4th round of clomid naturally. Oh I had PCOS back then as well.

I will be visiting the doctor today. I’m assuming I will be given a requisition for blood work and maybe a scan as well. I will for sure update the thread once I receive an update. I don’t want to spend unnecessary funds in ovulation and pregnancy tests if there is something going on in there that needs to be rectified.

Something I learned after an ectopic was that it takes times for hcg to come back down to 0 just like any other loss, even with a salpingectomy. And it’s quite the trauma for our bodies as well so healing takes time. It’s been so long now, but I’m pretty sure I was about 2-3 months before my cycles returned.
Very sorry for your loss and experience, I went on to have 4 wonderful pregnancies with only one tube, my newest babe even came from my tubeless side :hugs: good luck with ttc for your rainbow :dust:

We had tested my hcg levels and I was at 0 by November but still no cycle unfortunately. I’m hoping my body gets itself together as it’s very overwhelming not knowing what’s goin on.

Hi, everyone I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. I am new to temping therefore I rely on my Apple Watch. I have limited info for this cycle as I only started temping 2 days before I got peak reading on CBDA ovulation test (solid smiley). I have no idea as to what my chart is suppose to look like. I'm hoping for my bfp by Jan 12th if I really did ovulate between December 24-28th

Hi, I’m so excited to say after so many months without ovulation I finally ovulated and got my BFP. I got my first hint of a positive yesterday and confirmed with digital today.

Now I have to book an appointment to do blood work and schedule ultrasounds to confirm that my pregnancy is in the right location. Fingers crossed all goes well as I am both excited and terrified.

Congrats on your BFP!! Crossing everything for you that this is your rainbow babe xx

Unfortunately, I have experienced another etopic pregnancy. I have had to take the methotrexate shot twice as my hcg had a rise after the first dose.
February 29th 1655 1st dose of methotrexate
March 4th 3873
March 7th 3912 2nd dose of methotrexate
March 11th 2765
March 18th 1451
I will continue to be monitored until hcg levels reach zero. I’m hoping all goes well and there will be no rupture as this is the only tube I have left.

Oh, I’m so sorry. Praying all goes well and nothing further is needed.

:hugs: I’m so so sorry. Ttc with one tube is so stressful. It’s good to see those numbers dropping, I hope it all goes well for you from here x

Still being monitored as my hcg levels take their time going down.
February 29th 1655 1st dose of methotrexate
March 4th 3873
March 7th 3912 2nd dose of methotrexate
March 11th 2765
March 18th 1451
March 25th 848
April 9th 288

I have another blood draw on the 16th. I’m hoping I’ll be under 100 at least. It’s so difficult not knowing what to eat and worrying about a rupture with everything I do.

I can’t wait to get to 0 and have an ultrasound done to see if the mass has gotten smaller or has dissolved.

Oh love, what a process! I hope you come out safe and sound with an unharmed tube :hugs:

Hey everyone, just a quick update.

February 29th 1655 1st dose of methotrexate
March 4th 3873
March 7th 3912 2nd dose of methotrexate
March 11th 2765
March 18th 1451
March 25th 848
April 9th 288
April 16th 231

I don’t know why it was only a slight decrease between April 9th and the 16th but I’m hoping I will be in low 100s or under 100 when I do my blood work this week.

I’m patiently waiting for this to be over so I can start taking my vitamins again, eating without worrying about folic acid intake, and going to the gym.

It’s so rough having pregnancy hormones for so long knowing that the pregnancy is not viable. The drs refer to my baby as cells or “the mass” and I feel gutted every time.

I keep telling myself I’m going to wait until the end of the year or next year to try again but I want our babies now. I know it wouldn’t be wise to try again without some testing to at least check on my right tubes condition. I don’t want to have another etopic pregnancy so I have to go about things the right way.

I guess at this point I need to wait until my hcg is back to non pregnant and take it from there. I’m determined to restore my reproductive health so that I can have a successful pregnancy in the future hopefully without assistance.

I will let everyone know how my next blood work goes. Thanks to everyone that has been supportive. I truly appreciate you

Today I had my bloodwork done and my hcg level is now 110.

February 29th 1655 1st dose of methotrexate
March 4th 3873
March 7th 3912 2nd dose of methotrexate
March 11th 2765
March 18th 1451
March 25th 848
April 9th 288
April 16th 231
April 23rd 110

I won’t complain as I did say I wanted at least low 100s or under 100. I still have to return next week for another blood draw. Looking forward to being cleared so I can start taking my vitamins and go back to my regular routine.

I’ve booked an appointment with a fertility clinic as I would like to do a full assessment of my reproductive organs. I’m going to give my body more time to heal before doing an hsg but figured I would at least begin the process with the fertility clinic.

Aside from that fingers crossed levels continue to go down and there will be no rupture.
