Next month it will be 1 year since we lost our angel, we've been ttc ever since but no luck as of yet.

If I don't get a bfp by next month me and OH have decided we're gonna see the doctor, so that's our next plan of action!

Anybody else still ttc almost a year on? I'm starting to get a little frustrated so having people who are in the same boat to speak to would be a big help :D

Sweetie I'm so sorry to hear how hard this is being for you, I really hope you get your rainbow baby this time round x x

We got pregnant relatively quickly when we started trying (4 months) but then miscarried at 6.5 weeks on June 1st. We started trying again in July so we've been ttc again now for 8 months. Like you I am getting very frustrated. My husband is super positive that it'll happen again but I am stressed. So many of my friends and colleagues have had no issues getting pregnant and it seems like every week someone I know is either announcing pregnancy or having a baby, it's everywhere I turn. I had a couple major meltdowns at work around the time of my would have been due date in January. The process has certainly made my mom and I closer. It took my parents 3 years to conceive me and DH's parents were starting the adoption process because they too had had no luck but then they conceived him (then popped out his siblings not long after). I can't imagine doing this for years without success.

I booked a physical with my doctor for the end of April, the same month I originally conceived. I'm not sure what they'll do since we conceived once. A couple other friends have done IUI/IVF due to unexplained infertility and have had healthy babies. I'm not a huge fan of medical interventions and really want to conceive naturally. The only medical intervention I've already decided upon is an epidural when the time comes...lol.

Good luck! I hope we both get the answers we're looking for and have healthy happy babies.

There becomes a point doesn't there where you just wonder what on earth is going on. I know what your saying about nobody else having a problem, pretty much everybody I know have recently had babies - everybody but me! I'm sorry you've had a hard time, I don't think any lady deserves the emotional pain attached to mc & ttc.
I was thinking the same about the doctors although I was speaking to a lady earlier and she said she thinks doctors go off how long you were trying before & after the mc, because we mc'ed so early it's kinda not 'counted for' (as horrible as that sounds) but I'm not sure whether its true..
I've read about a lot of ladies on here who have had mc's that have had/are having tests or treatment so I hope the doctors do take it seriously and don't fob us off like they usually do :shrugs:

Good luck to you too hun, I hope you get that much wanted rainbow baby soon! X

We got pregnant our second month TTC and found out at 9 weeks that it wasn't viable. 3 months after the MC I went to the doctor with weird OPK results. She ordered blood tests right away and put me on Clomid, which I started this cycle (my 5th post-MC). We also had a semen analysis done for DH and another hormone test for me. Everything has been normal. It's been wonderful to have some reassurance and to have my doctor take me so seriously. I will say, though, that fertility testing--even if the results are good--does add a certain level of stress.

Good luck ladies!!

I'm glad everything came back normal for you hun :). Me and OH are gonna go to the doctors & see what they suggest, fx'd they take us seriously too & don't fob us off lol! X

Its been a year since my last mc too
Going to talk to my gp about assisted conception this week, never had a problem getting pg (ive had 4 mc's) until we actually started trying :growlmad:

Sorry about your mc's hun :(
Please update me about your appointment, I'm gonna be booking one after this cycle & I'm quite anxious on what they'll suggest. Good luck, I hope it goes well x

i presume the first step will be iui, but will let you know :hugs:
