10 days overdue now! Update on meeee :)

Still stuck here waiting! 10 days overdue and very fed up but my induction is now booked and i can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Had a midwife appointment and my normal midwife had to go somewhere and i had a different woman. My normal midwife is lovely, dont get me wrong, but she hasnt been very useful tbh. Anyway turns out this other midwife knows my mum and aunt from school and has known me since i was little - bit arkward but she so was nice, so happy my other midwife was busy lol!

Anyway she offered me a stretch and sweep and i said yes please! But i'm not even 1cm dialated and she couldnt get to my cervix! It bloody hurt aswell I'm so gutted that i'm not even 1cm dialated, this sucks! But she said shes tried to do stretch and sweeps on women before in the same posistion as me and they have gone into labour that night, but that didnt happen to me!

I now have my induction booked for this Saturday at 8.30 in the morning I'm upset because i sooo wanted to go into labour naturally but im glad that i know my little girl will be here this weekend - provided my induction actually works!

My family think that i got my dates wrong in the beginning because im so overdue with no signs, but i don't think i did Got me slightly worried now, but they changed my dates at my 12 week scan by 3 days, and ive been measuring perfectly all throughout my pregnancy so they must be near enough right.

Wow can't imagine going 10 days over, I had my DD 3 weeks early. Hopefully you might go in labour naturally before saturday hun!

Had a bit of a loose bowel movement this morning (sorry if tmi!!) and just been to the toilet and ive finally lost my mucus plug! Starting to get period type pains but going to wait to see if they last because ive been getting them on and off for weeks now - please be the start of something!!

Don't worry about not being dilated, I still hadn't roughly 12 hours after my labour started!

I hope this is the start of it for you! I have been have Loose BM for a week now, and lost my mucus plug. Maybe you have started to dilate! Update us when you can!

Bet you're looking forward to meeting your little girl now, I was induced and that really sped things along which I think made it easier for me. I had no signs either at 7 days over, he was just late, some babies just are good luck for oooh its tomorrow now! can't wait to see pics

Update! Waters broke about 2 hours ago (strangest sensation ever, thought i was wetting myself!) Hospital told me not to worry until i start getting contractions and said just go to bed and try and rest lol! Can't sleep and now having contractions in my lower back every 10-15 minutes! Now waiting for them to get closer before i call back, but so happy im going into labour naturally! Wish me luckkkk!!!
