My baby boy is driving me mad. Last week I was besotted so I know I love him 😂 Bit seriously he is constantly moaning and moving - so the noises of mooing and groaning which only stop when he's sleeping or playing for 30 second intervals (not happy noises) are torture. Then he wants to be held and carried - if he's on the floor he crawls around but miserable and doesn't stop moving, and if picked up whilst I'm sat down he stiffens to move. He started crawling a week ago but he has moaned like this for most of his life - about a week out of a month he's content. Whether it's genuine misery or just a moany persona I'm not sure as yet! I can't wait for him to actually talk to tell me what's wrong!!

Then I went to wrap my daughter's 3rd birthday present and I couldn't - he moaned and cried. I suddenly remembered my daughter as a baby from as little as 5 months loved baby tv - engrossed. My son however is totally disinterested in TV so no respite there either. I'm actually in tears tonight as am getting so frustrated. He moans whenever - at meal times after 3 mouthfuls he's moaning. He likes to watch other children but even that is short lived. He's also 27lbs so extremely heavy so I haven't been able to put him in a sling for a long time. We go out every day, he's got a nearly 3 year old as entertainment and so many toys...

Has anyone experienced this?

My LO is 9 months just now and has just started crawling last week too. She's a whiney baby, she needs to be with someone at all times and isn't happy in her own company. What works for us is we have started making baby sensory things, she seems to prefer them to expensive toys. When doing something I take her with me- if doing laundry I talk her through what I'm doing. I put the highchair nearby if I'm making dinner and give her raw veggies to chew on, and I tell her all about dinner.

She also has allergies - cows milk being the big one. Does he show any other symptoms of allergies.

This is definitely the hardest stage so far. She has stopped sleeping through the night too which is hell. She started sleeping through every night since 6 weeks so its a shock to the system!

My little lady has been crawling for about a month now (she has decided she wants to pull herself up on stuff now) was much easier getting stuff done when she couldn't move :haha: but I love watching her learn and see her getting herself around to things she wants

She is clingy and moany at the moment as she is currently cutting 3 teeth at once (her 1st ones too mean teeth)

could your little one be teething maybe?
