My baby seems to be on a breast strike. Usually when she wakes up in the morning my husband brings her to bed and I cuddle her and nurse her there. But this morning she was very wiggly and not wanting to nurse at all. When I tried anyway, she bit me. So I gave up then and tried again 20 mins later on the couch...same story!

So finally I gave her a bottle and she drank that. I must add I'm currently slowly weaning her so she's bf'd in the morning at 4pm and has a bottle at 11:30 am and 6:30 pm (before bed). Does this mean she wants to be weaned fully now? I was hoping to take another month for the weaning process as I'm going back to work end of July.

Anyone else dealt with this at similar age?

It's very uncommon for babies to self-wean before a year old. https://kellymom.com/bf/normal/babyselfwean/ You said that you've been keeping her on a schedule and slowly weaning her yourself, so she's probably adjusting to when you're offering. I nurse on demand and noticed a lot of pushing away these past few weeks and she's also dropped a lot of feeds on her own. Some days she is very dependent on the breast and doesn't eat much, so I'm thankful that she isn't just outright refusing yet.
